Leah Turns 7

Although my little Peanut, Leah, is about the size of a 5 year old, she turned 7 this past week. It just seems like yesterday that my little Mother's Day baby arrived. She has anticipated this birthday more than any I can remember for 2 reasons. One, she was going to have her first birthday party with 4 friends. Two, she was going to get an American Girl doll.

We had homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast - candle and red plate included.

She picked out Molly 2 years ago when Anna Blair got Kit for her 7th birthday. She couldn't have been happier. It was a "sacrifice" as I told her she would get no other presents from her family.

We hosted a luau for 4 girlfriends + the other 5 Fish Sticks, of course.

She decided she wanted a Toffee Trifle Cake instead of a traditional one.

Caleb and Anna Blair hosted games in our school room after the pizza. Here they are waiting for the "Go" to race in The Shoe Scramble.

P.S. Ruth picked out her American Girl 2 years ago and only has 2 more years to go and we periodically get a reminder. :)
